What is a sober living home?

A sober living home provides structured, supportive housing for individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. It offers a substance-free environment to continue their sobriety journey.

Individuals in recovery actively choose sobriety and are committed to maintaining it. Our company ensures proper vetting and high standards for residents.
Participation in programs like AA or NA promotes honest, positive, and healthy lifestyles, leading to better care of your property.

Yes, therapy is typically required for acceptance into sober living. Residents’ well-being and progress are ensured through traditional therapies such as PHP, IOP, and outpatient services.
Additionally, AA/NA meetings are enforced at a minimum

How do residents pay for housing?

Residents are required to find meaningful employment within their 30-day probationary period. They must maintain employment throughout their stay to cover rent and any other expenses. This policy ensures a productive lifestyle and facilitates reintegration into the workforce and society.
(Other options include grants from local non-profit organizations, and government housing funds.)

What is the average length of stay?
What recreational activities are available?

Typically around 90 days, but longer accommodations are acceptable. The goal is to allow the individual time to rebuild their life at a pace that's comfortable for them and not overwhelming to their recovery. This provides additional time to develop a sustainable foundation to their recovery.

We try to offer multiple activities based on individual requests. These activities include yoga, gym memberships, educational and vocational training, group outings and more.

What is your drug screening policy?

Regular and random drug screenings are done by the house manager to ensure residents stay on track with their sobriety. If a resident fails a drug test, they are immediately evicted from the residence to ensure the safety of others living in the home.

Are residents allowed to stay out overnight?

Yes, residents are allowed 2 "overnight" passes a week AFTER they have completed their 30 day probationary period, although, these passes can be revoked in cases where the tenant does not follow housing guidelines.

Do you assist tenants in their transition out of sober living?

Yes, we help residents find supportive housing beyond our program.

What safety measures are in place for residents and the property?

Video Surveillance: Our properties are equipped with video surveillance systems to enhance safety and monitor common areas.

Zero Tolerance for Violence: We maintain a strict policy against violence, ensuring a peaceful and supportive environment for all residents.

Unauthorized Access: Only authorized individuals have access to the property, preventing any unauthorized entry.

Live-In House Managers: Our dedicated house managers reside on the property, providing oversight, support, and immediate assistance.
